Your Responsibilities
The electro- acoustic engineer will be the central point of contact for all acoustic related activities. This includes: Benchmarking our products against competitors, Performance measurement of devices with our software integrated, tuning of parameters of our products to get the maximum out of the customer devices, consultancy to the development teams to improve our software products, follow-up of standardized requirements and test methods in speech and mobile and implement them, etc.
He/she will also be the owner of the audio lab in Belgium, maintaining and extending this lab with the necessary equipment and tools in order to use it efficiently in our activities, and he will coordinate consistant and meaningfull lab setups in other sites.
Your Profile
Key Responsibility: Together with an Audio System Architect and a DSP Designer, you will design and develop products that are low power and Innovative. This includes development of new IP, core algorithm development, or intake of the right technology from research institutes.
Your Personal Skills
Microphones on mobile devices are primary used for communication, but can also be considered as sensors that are constantly listening to the world. In order to build products that add value for end users of mobile devices using microphones as sensors, we want to extend our team with a Digital Signal Processing Engineer.
